TIBCO Cloud™ - Proxy Agent Prerequisites

To use TIBCO Cloud - Proxy Agent, you must first fulfill the following prerequisites:

Download the TIBCO Cloud - Proxy Agent client. It can be downloaded from the Downloads tab within your TIBCO Cloud account. Download the version required for the OS of your on-premises machine.
Ensure that the on-premises machine that runs the TIBCO Cloud - Proxy Agent client meets the system requirements as described in System Requirements.
Install the TIBCO Cloud - Proxy Agent client, as described in Downloading and Installing TIBCO™ Cloud - Proxy Agent.
Get an access key. For more information about creating an access key, see Generating and Revoking Access Keys.

Other Requirements

If your on-premises resources are behind an HTTP or HTTPS proxy, you must set the environment variable HTTP_PROXY or HTTPS_PROXY to the host name or IP address of the proxy server before starting TIBCO Cloud - Proxy Agent. For example:

For Linux and macOS:

export HTTP_PROXY=http://http_procy::port/
export HTTPS_PROXY=http://http_proxy:port/

For Windows:

set HTTP_PROXY=http://http_proxy:port/
set HTTPS_PROXY=http://http_proxy:port/
